Long hot showers

where you reflect

on every choice.

A lot of coffee –

preferably a dark roast.

Money maybe?

But not enough to boast.

A cup of earl grey

with a blueberry muffin.

Sunshine

flooding through

all of a sudden.

Family reunions

filled with laughter.

Witnessing sunsets –

just to see the moonlight

scatter.

Cars and driving–

driving cars –

getting faster and faster.

An absence of sadness

hereafter.
